In 1995 at the age of 15, John Lapp started working at his father’s cousins wooden toy business. John steadily worked his way up from sanding and assembling small parts to sorting and cutting lumber down to size. In 2007, John took over the business with his brother Amos and their dad as partners. Since then, they have moved to a bigger facility and gone from making thirty-five toys to over one hundred toys.
Safety and quality come first with every Clip Clop toy. Their toys are built using biodegradable Baltic Birch and other environmentally friendly woods. All the toys are finished with child-safe paints and stains that comply with all CPSIA standards. Each piece is built to last, so it can be handed down for generations to come.
